First, create a software "portfolio piece" that I can reference. Second, provide easier-to-use tools to folks who still haven't abandoned AOL. Third (and it's a distant third), create a service that I might eventually be able to charge for (without depending on advertising). Another option would be to use it as a starting point for selling consulting. |
